January: Everything’s Coming Up Roses
As we reflect on the 1st month of 2021 & our January Brunch Series: Everything’s Coming Up Roses, we can’t help but be hopeful for a better, brighter year of growth & blooms. What we learned in January is that there are no thorns, no weather bad enough, no stop our community from coming together to support small businesses like our diner. We had rain. Wind. (And if you dined with us you know just how much wind). Cold. Sun. And more cold, rainy days. But Little Rock, you bundled up, umbrella up’d and trusted us with your outdoor dining experience. You hopped in the car line to pick up curbside. You sent meals to healthcare heroes. You Cinnamon Rolled It Forward to hospitals, offices, teachers. You truly helped our diner bloom in the middle of a January winter. As businesses are still greatly affected by this pandemic, we can’t help but feel, as the old saying goes, everything’s coming up roses.
